Decent Stay with Some Issues
dim light unfixed problem
My stay had some drawbacks. The bathroom light switched between being too dim and not working at all. I reported this, but it remained unfixed . The bathroom lock also presented a problem. It locked from the inside, it did not lock from the outside, a security concern..

missing service single coat hanger
the room was lovely and clean.
i was disappointed to find that my room was not cleaned during my three-night stay. i also noticed only one coat hanger was available in the wardrobe, a fairly basic amenity. there wasn't a bedside light, made reading in bed rather difficult because i had to use the overhead light.

friendly staff convenient location clean bed
the staff were amazingly friendly. the hotel was very convenient and close to everything i needed. the shower was fabulous and invigorating. The bed was clean and comfy.
The tv's remote control was not working. I had to manually change the channels.

pleasant and convenient stay
The breakfast included a decent offering. i also appreciated the free overnight parking across the road. It was quite convenient. the room was clean and the shower worked well. the staff were also helpful and friendly.
The rooms weren't cleaned upon arrival. This happened after a 5-hour journey, inconvenient.

The room had a spacious bathroom. I found a good large shower cubicle. The breakfast was freshly cooked (i liked this feature). It was a nice way to start the day.
My room was on the ground floor. There were tables directly outside the window. There was no double glazing, so it was loud at night.

friendly staff hot options
The staff was really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed that a lot. The location is also central. It helps to get around. Breakfast offered many hot options, and I did appreciate that. The single bedroom also had a private bathroom, and it met my needs.

bar noise slow check-in
the room i got was not what i expected. it was above the bar, a real problem. the noise was awful friday night, really loud. it quieted down after 11pm. but it was still a struggle to fall asleep. the check in felt slow too. only one person seemed to work, running off to get drinks for people.
